President, Swarnim Bharat Samaj Kalyan Foundation (India)
Dr. Kuldeep Singh Mehta, President of Swarnim Bharat Samaj Kalyan Foundation (India), belongs to Dadhara village, Rampur Bushahr, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. He was born on 4th March 1981, on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, in Rampur.
His father’s name is Shri Amolak Ram, and his mother’s name is Smt. Janaku Devi. He is the youngest among five siblings, and from childhood, he has been loved and cherished by all family members.
Dr. Mehta completed his graduation from Degree College Rampur. After pursuing M.Sc. (IT), he dedicated himself to the field of education. With a vision to provide higher education opportunities to the youth of the tribal region of Kinnaur, he established and managed educational institutions aimed at empowering needy students. To date, he has inspired thousands of young individuals toward skill-based education and self-employment, playing a significant role in helping many achieve sustainable livelihoods.
The values instilled by his parents shaped his religious and social orientation from an early age. In 2005, Dr. Mehta came into contact with the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Mount Abu, where he received spiritual education in Gyan Yoga and adopted the practice of Sahaj Rajyoga in his life. Inspired by the teachings of the Brahma Kumaris, he decided to dedicate his life to social service.
With the noble vision of building a value-based society and bringing a smile to every face, he founded Swarnim Himachal Jan Jagran Samiti, Himachal Pradesh, in 2011. Through this initiative, he motivated thousands of social workers across Himachal Pradesh and guided many young individuals toward meaningful service.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to social service, he was honored with the Honorary Doctorate in Social Service in 2022. Over the years, he has also received several prestigious awards and recognitions from various organizations and departments, including the National Service Award, Bharatiya Gaurav Samman, Shiksha Ratna Award, and other honors.
To expand his service in the fields of education and social welfare, he laid the foundation of Dev Bhoomi International Skill Development Institute (India) and Swarnim Bharat Samaj Kalyan Foundation (India), committing himself fully and courageously to the service of society.
In his journey of social service, he is strongly supported by his family members, including his wife Shiv Dasi (Kiran Mehta), his son Adarsh Mehta, and his spiritual brother Saurabh Chauhan, who have made significant contributions to his mission.
Dr. Kuldeep Singh Mehta is not only a dedicated social reformer but also a visionary author whose writings reflect his lifelong commitment to humanity and nation-building. He has authored two thought-provoking books — “The Key to a Successful Life: The Spirit of Selfless Service” and “Education and Social Upliftment: A Transformative Initiative for Change.”
Through these works, he shares profound insights drawn from his real-life experiences in social service, emphasizing value-based living, compassion, ethical leadership, and the empowering role of education in building a progressive and enlightened society.
